Tasting Note:
Garnet red with light brownish reflections, somewhat transparent. The wine is classic in its style and has a charming and elegant aroma of ripe blackberries, cherries, a hint of cassis, dried roses and violets. At the same time, there are notes of undergrowth, forest floor with wet leaves, some leather and dog rose. On the palate, the Closerie Saint Roc 2016 initially silky and fresh with a medium body. Then the firm tannin becomes noticeable, which is typical of this Bordeaux provides structure. Overall, the wine is transparent, clear and juicy with a ripe, silky acidity.
