Typically textural and savory, in the mouth it is an explosion of richness of incredible depth and length. With its enormous aging potential, Montemarino, as Stefano Bellotti said, is "fascinating, indefinable, unobtainable. It is the opposite of Filagnotti, a wine that invites introspection. Montemarino is a reserved but revealing wine, capable of bewitching the palate from the first sip. Give it time once the bottle has been opened: it will show you its thousand facets in succession. A woodland and coastal wine, for meat and fish, for hedonistic evenings with friends and possibly paired with its Filagnotti cousin from the same vintage.
