Tasting Note:
Amarone, synonymous with Valpolicella, is a new and inciting source for the Pieropan family and is never left to see the nearby Cellore d'Illasi land with the unique terroir of Valpolicella. Amarone is a family vision and produces a puternic red wine, bogat and structured, with its echilibrule, elegance and fine Pieropan characteristics. Struguri Corvina Veronese 60%, Corvinone 30%, Rondinella 5%, Croatina Veronese 5% which are left to rest in September, dehydrated naturally for 2-3 months and then selected manually to set and ferment. Mature for 24-30 months in French barrels and barrels, then leave to ripen the mixture in the flat area. Tasting notes – aroma of black cireșe, mure, prune, bitter chocolate, piele, coffee, or important complex seasoned aromas and a balsamic finish. Complex and rounded, with a puternic structure perfectly balanced for post-tasting perspective. A characterful wine with remarkable aging potential.
