Gewurtraminer Furstentum Selection De Grains Nobles 2018

Region:
Grape Variety:
100% Gewurtraminer
Tasting Note:
The wine is adorned with a deep, intense yellow color with golden reflections. The record is consistent with a sparkling shine and the jamb is slow. The aromatic bouquet is almost fragrant; at the first moments, scents of Sencha green tea, jasmine and honeysuckle are revealed. It is very complex and dense, with an aristocratic and vaporous spontaneity. After aeration, the wine exudes its concentration as well as its great substance with flavors of exotic fruits, Peruvian mango, passion fruit, roasted pineapple, dried fig, date and candied apricot. In the mouth, botrytis is present in all its splendor. There is creaminess, fat and thickness with a peppery side; what a treat! We perceive with a certain ease the reading of the 2017 vintage in this vintage where Mother Nature has offered us a vintage that is not very quantitative but very qualitative. This fleshy wine lines the palate generously with oriental scents as well as notes of cloves, cinnamon, vanilla, wax, orange blossom, currants and shortbread cakes, all subtly mixed. An ideal structure, a full wine and an exceptional strength common, perfectly balanced by an acid and racy support, reinforced by a very nice palatability given its richness in sugar.
