St.emilion Grand Cru 1999

Grape Variety:
65% Merlot 30% Cabernet Franc 5% Malbec
Tasting Note:
In the mouth it is a powerful with a nice balance between acidity and tannins. On the nose it often reveals types of flavors of oaky, earthy or red fruit and sometimes also flavors of vanilla, jam or leather. It matches generally quite well with dishes of beef, lamb or game (deer, venison) such as recipes of fondue bourguignonne and accompanying sauces, lamb with ginger honey or medallions of monkfish with citrus fruits. A good amount of ripe fruit with smooth round tannins and a distinct minerality to the finish, nice freshness. Excellent wine
