65% Merlot 30% Cabernet Franc 5% Malbec
In the mouth it is a powerful with a nice balance between acidity and tannins. On the nose it often reveals types of flavors of oaky, earthy or red fruit and sometimes also flavors of vanilla, jam or leather. It matches generally quite well with dishes of beef, lamb or game (deer, venison) such as recipes of fondue bourguignonne and accompanying sauces, lamb with ginger honey or medallions of monkfish with citrus fruits. A nice amount of ripe currant and plum fruit some fresh earth, coffee and tobacco notes.
The estate owns 20 hectares and produces 120,000 bottles of this fine wine.
