Chateau Laforge St. Emilion Grand Cru 2011

Producer:
Grape Variety:
92% Merlot 8% Cabernet Franc
Tasting Note:
Saturated ruby. High - pitched aromas of black cherry, violet and underbrush. Juicy and intense on the palate; sweet black fruit, mineral and chocolate flavors turn a little austere on the back half. A step up in intensity and sweetness from the Teyssier (also owned by Jonathan Maltus). Finishes with sweet tannins and noteworthy persistence.
