100% barbera from a small vineyard that Olek recently acquired in Castagnole delle Lanze (Barbera d'Asti aerea). The soil here is very rich in limestone and chalk. Maceration with minimal pumps over, in stainless steel tank, with the purpose of delivering a sharp, crunchy and minerally driven barbera, opposed to the more opulent style of his barbera d'Alba. Olek decided to go out as vino rosso instead of barbera d'Asti for less confusion, considering is already got a lable of Barbera d'Asti.
