Barolo Serralunga D’alba Docg 2017

Region:
Producer:
Grape Variety:
100% Nebbiolo
Tasting Note:
Aromas of underbrush, blue flowers and wild berries form the nose along with a whiff of pipe tobacco. Made with organically grown grapes, the savory, elegantly structured palate delivers raspberry compote, juicy Morello cherry, cinnamon and star anise before finishing on an earthy hint of game. Firm, refined tannins provide support. This will hit its ideal drinking window soon but will still offer great midterm aging potential.
Vinification:
Enrico Rivetto owns 23 hectares and produces around 100,000 bottles of fine wine using Biodynamic Viticulture.
