Rosso Di Montalcino Atia (ade) Doc 2021

Region:
Grape Variety:
100% Sangiovese
Tasting Note:
The smallest winery in Montalcino, L'Aietta is run by a young vigneron by the name of Francesco Mulinari. Having begun his wine journey while he was still in high school (is that even legal?), everything from vine cultivation to winemaking is done solely by Francesco himself. Fruit for Francesco's Rosso di Montalcino comes from the Castelnuovo dell’Abate vineyard and is fermented in stainless tanks before being aged in Slavonian oak for one year. An inviting wine that shows raspberry-like fruit intermingling with playful acidity. Deep tannin graphite, cassis, dry black cherry, black plum, black raspberry. Light tomato leaf on the finish. High and tangy acidity. The natural Rosso done well. Delicious.
Vinification:
Francesco Mulinari produces his wines in his family garden and only less than a hectare. He produced annually 3000 bottles of Biodynamic fine wines
