Pale gold. Spicy red berry and orchard fruit aromas are complicated by notes of iodine and anise. Vibrant, mineral-accented strawberry and bitter pear skin flavors show an exotic touch of candied rose. Dry and stony on the incisive finish, which hangs on with excellent tenacity and lingering spiciness. This wine's purity and focus would make it a great match with the most delicate, unadorned seafood dishes.
