Le Val Cornet is stellar. Honey, mint, spice, apricot and pear notes are all laced together in an ample, super-expressive Champagne built on texture. Powerful and resonant to the core, and impresses for its breadth, persistence and exceptional polish. This is the finest wine I have tasted from Nathalie Falmet. The Val Cornet is a blend of equal parts Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier from vineyards from the Rouvres-les Vignes lieu-dit.
