Producer:
Grape Variety:
100% Nebbiolo
Tasting Note:
The Nebbiolo 2019 by Annalisa Chiappa, a very determined winemaker in the locality of Pugnane, in the municipality of Castiglione Falletto, right on the border with Barolo, in front of the Cannubi Boschis hill, smells of rosewood, fresh strawberries, wild herbs and talc. In the mouth it is vigorous and reactive: it snaps and infiltrates the sip of rocky and savory grain and the alcoholic current does not affect a picture of great freshness, aided by both the vibrant acidity and a salty trait that is not at all obvious. The call of goudron in swallowing adds a dimension to the expressive space of the wine which thus lengthens deeply, leaving a pleasant sensation of mild spiciness.
Vinification:
The winery owns 5 hectares and produces around 15,000 bottles using Organic Viticulture
